I confess, I'm in love with Bollywood.

I've resisted it! I've honestly tried! But it seems Bollywood has set it's talons in me! I had never been a fan of Indian movies... I mean why would everyone in the vicinity of two lovers suddenly jump into synchronised dancing and singing simply because two people have fallen in love?

Well you'll surely find out, just as I did.

Must watch movies:

JAB TAK HAI JAAN- starring the sexy chameleon actor Shahrukh Khan (I mean this man does hot, sexy, nerdy, crazy and weirdo freak all in one movie! I may be in love!)

BARFI! - Made me cry, laugh, and SCREAM even! But seriously a romantic pairing between a speech and hearing impaired guy and an autistic girl never seemed possible till this movie!

I don't want to give anything anyway, just watch them why don't you!

Alola love!

P.S. Obviously (or maybe not so obvious for some of you) I watched these movies with subtitles.

The LUX Series - A not-so-review review.

Okay, so I'm currently reading Jennifer Armentrout's "Lux' series. I just barely managed to pull myself out of Daemon and Katy "Kitten's"lust-love-war relationship to bring you this message.

I initially began reading this book based on maryse.net 's review on it and to be honest I expected steamy R-rates scenes from the get go (which I would have been totally fine with and may a little ecstatic.... well I may be a bit of a pervy perv, but that's besides the point!) but NOOOO what I got is Edward and Bella (from the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer) reincarnated! I know to some of you lazy bums who may have only seen the Twilight movies this may be slightly off-putting, but anyone who has read the Twilight books KNOWS that they were awesomesauce with a dash of tabasco and the movies are just a caricature of Ms Meyer's story!

Okay so maybe I should have introduced myself first right? Silly me...
I am ALOLA, not my real name but who really cares about names tbh?
Alright, maybe names are important but just call me Alola on here! :)
A little teeny weeny info about me: I loooove reading! *Shocker!*
I guess they help me 'escape' from reality but there's no trauma in my real life that I have to escape from so I guess I'm just another nerdy nerd who reads a lot, sue me. Actually I should probably say, I'm also a legal practitioner in training.
Anyway I plan to blog about books I'm reading or have read, and whatever else interests me.

Back to the quasi not-so-review review:

I am finding it hard to put these books down and I'm currently guns-blazing into Onyx- the second book in the series- in just as many days and Lord knows if I will be able to put down this book so I can catch some zzzz's tonight.

Read these books if you're looking for witty dialogue, slightly unpredictable characters, very many twisty twists, and just a story that takes you into another world just outside of your reality.

I'm really not sure if I want to give ratings on a number scale because I feel like these things are sooo unreliable, I mean how helpful are ratings really if it's just based on one persons (me, that is) point of view?

That aside, I guess numbers will be helpful, but make sure to take everything I say with a pinch (or more like a dollop actually) of salt. Look at other review sites before you take the leap into buying any books baby!

Actually, thinking on it, I am yet to finish the books yet so I will not rate them right now... so take this as a review in progress.

Not sure what I may post next, but keep looking out!

Till next time!
